What is a move manager?
A move manager is not a mover or a moving company but rather the coordinator who ensures the every aspect of your move is exactly what it should be for you- enjoyable, and as easy as possible.
 
Do I hire a moving truck or do you do this for me?
Certainly if you have a mover selected you may use whomever you choose but you should know we do have a list of experienced movers in your area that we have worked with many times before and recommend. The choice however is yours.
 
 
Should I sort through this stuff and plan a garage sale before you come?
If you have already started the process of going through your belongings deciding what to keep and what to get rid of, that is wonderful. If you have not, have no fear. We can help you in this sorting process and help take the overwhelming nature of it out of the equation.
 
How will I know what I can fit into my new (smaller) home?
Welcome Home professionals come to your home (often several times) before your move to analyze your space. Using our own calculation formula, we take the guess work out of how much you can comfortably fit into your new space and virtually eliminate the struggle of forcing a fit in your new space or having to get rid of things because they didn’t fit after your move.
 
What if my family wants to help?
Family is encouraged to help. Moving is a very personal experience and it is our mission to make it as comfortable as possible. Of course, many of our clients have said they feel like we are family by the time we complete their moves and we are happy to fill that role.
 

Doesn't this cost more than doing it myself?
Most of our clients find that the time we save them and their moving company, the reduction in lost or broken items, and the creative resources we have for planning the move actually end up saving them money or costing them the same amount in the long run. The amount our clients save in emotional and physical stress is priceless.
